October 17-23, 2009 For Mom and Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary Tim, Paul and I took Mom and Dad on a 5 day cruise to New England/Canada on the Royal Carribbean Cruise Lines. Their actual 50th Anniversary was April 4th, but Mom wanted to see the fall color in New England so we cruised in mid-October. It was cold and rainy until we reached Halifax, Nova Scotia when the sun came out and warmed up the day enough to wear shirt sleeves. When we got back from the cruise we went to Quincy, MA and toured the residences of John Adams and John Quincy Adams. What a great vacation!

We met Jessica (Paul's Daughter) and Rowan (our Granddaughter) at the Mall so Rowan could "Trick or Treat"! Baby girl wanted to be a Vampire and she was the cutest Vamp I've ever seen!

What can I say about a dream class come true…What a fantastic time Jaimie and I had taking our first class with Tim Holtz (Senior Educator for Ranger and Designer Extrordinaire).

We had only signed up for one class and were fortunate enough to take two! We had an Altered Jewelry Class in the morning and an Altered Embossed Metal Handmade Book Class in the afternoon.

In between classes we shopped til we dropped at the quaint Mill-turned-boutique outlet where Queen's Ink is located.
